Something Missing, what a great message of hope. If CEIC would look for those that are missing. WHY, are they lost or stuck and life has just beat them down and their faith has left them or just hanging on. The Church needs to know those people in the church, meet them, know them and when they are missing, find out why.

Pastor Tim you do everything to keep this church a body of Christ. Praise the Lord for man of God like you.

Such encouraging words Pat and as you attend you will fall in love with the age old music at The Embassy that goes way back to Psalm 150 where God instructs us to...Praise Him in this way...

1 Praise God in His sanctuary;
         Praise Him in His mighty firmament!

2 Praise Him for His mighty acts;
         Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!

3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
         Praise Him with the lute and harp!

4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
         Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!

5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
         Praise Him with clashing cymbals!

6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.

         Praise the LORD!

Wow! What a powerful message on the power of the tongue! Our words are either in agreement with God's and bringing to pass His destiny for our lives, or they are in agreement with the enemy's plan to bring about destruction in our lives. "The opposite of faith is NOT doubt. The opposite of faith is SIGHT." That is quite a true statement. I am so thankful that there is a church right here in Hampton Roads where the Word of God is boldly and accurately taught, the love of God is evident and the pastors are real and genuinely caring people who live what they teach. For anyone who wants to mature in Christ and bear much fruit, this is where they need to be!

I have been attending your services with my daughter, Victoria Phelps. I am from the "old school" of baptist church with big choirs and reverent silence from the congregation. This "newage" type of worship is a bit hard for me to get use to. I went to church at Calvary Baptist in Roanoke, Virginia. Having said all that I am struck by the love and caring attitude for your congregation. I really enjoy the spirit of your church. I have been awestruck by pator Tim's sermons particularily last Wed. sermon on our need for our Christian voice to speak out. It is what I pray for in my daily prayers. I usually pray for the ministers of the larger congrations because they might have more influence, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe all the pastors who have the courage to speak out as pastor Tim did and lead all our flock to speak out and cry "foul" will have the blessing of the Lord upon them. We are a country of the people, by the people and for the people and A NATION UNDER GOD. Yes, Pastor Tim we need to speak out as a nation to remind our national leaders of that very fact. Thank you for pointing that out. May God Bless your church and may your voice be heard.

Lorre Ann - we are in a spiritual warfare, wrestling not against flesh but principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness is high places. The spiritual does manifest in the physical. The Apostle Paul encourages us to "fight the good fight of faith" as long as we are on the earth. Being sick has nothing to do with being in or out of God's Will but has everything to do with being in this "fight of faith". Now, to accept sickness as from God rather than an attack from the enemy would be out of God's Will because God tells us in Psalm 107:20 that "He sent His word to heal them" and in John 1:14 "The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." Jesus is the Word sent to us from heaven to heal us. Peter tells us in 1 Peter 2:24 "...by whose stripes you were healed." Jesus so clearly identifies that sickness is not His will for our lives in John 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." Never accept sickness as God's Will - fight the good fight against it as long as you have breath. I join in agreement with the Word of God and with you right now for healing in your body as I declare "by His stripes...you were healed"! Blessings today and forever.
